Enhancing local visibility for a trendy London Gym

Gymbox, the original trendy London gym with 11 workout spaces across the capital, approached us with minimal prior SEO work. They tasked us with improving their rankings for individual gyms and classes in relevant local searches.
We initiated our strategy by addressing the site’s poor indexability, which hadn’t been set up for SEO. Our local SEO strategy involved setting up dedicated pages for each class and gym location. Additionally, Gymbox had no Google My Business presence, which we prioritised to ensure each gym ranked well for their respective terms and location aliases.
Our efforts included comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases that potential clients were searching for. We optimised on-site elements and ensured each page was indexed properly. Setting up and optimising Google My Business profiles for each location was a critical component, helping to improve visibility in local searches.
The results were substantial. Gymbox saw a 52% increase in organic traffic, a 58% increase in organic visitors, and a 50% increase in organic goals. These improvements significantly enhanced Gymbox’s local visibility, driving more traffic and engagement to their site.
