Kabbee, a price-comparison app allowing users to hail or pre-book minicabs from a selection of live quotes, sought to drive app downloads by increasing their visibility through SEO. At the time, Kabbee was only being found through branded search driven by other marketing channels.
To achieve their goals, we devised a rigorous and scalable strategy. We identified that ‘location + minicab’ terms would yield the greatest opportunities, so we developed a landing page strategy targeting these terms. We designed and developed a series of contextually relevant and customised landing pages, which were initially rolled out on a trial basis. Once the trial proved successful, we implemented the strategy at scale.
Our comprehensive site audit revealed significant optimisation opportunities, particularly for location-based minicab search terms. The landing pages were crafted with meticulous attention to context and relevance. The initial trial results were promising, showing significant improvements in search rankings and user engagement. The strategy’s success led to Kabbee being inundated with calls, requiring us to scale back some landing pages to manage demand better.
The results were remarkable. Kabbee ranked in the top 3 for 716 relevant search terms, re-launched their brand into new online markets, and saw a 100% increase in organic phone calls. These improvements significantly enhanced Kabbee’s visibility and search engine performance, driving more downloads and user engagement for their app.
